Description

This Roman Lorica Segmentata Armor  is constructed from 18 gauge steel plates with brass fittings. The interior of the armor is blackened and the armored plates are articulated by riveting them onto internal bands of thick leather.
 
The armor breaks down into four separate pieces; two upper armor halves and two lower halves. The upper halves are secured to one another with a adjustable brass buckles and leather straps. The upper halves are fitted onto the lower halves with a set of adjustable brass buckles and leather straps. The lower half of the armor is laced together around the torso to fit the armor onto the body. Leather lacing is included.
