DESCRIPTION

During close combat or "normal" battle the great helmets were often discarded as they impeded
sight and breathing and were very hot.
So often the secret helmet provided the only protection while allowing for best possible vision.
Made from 2 mm steel, the two helmet halves are welded together. At the sides and rear. There are holes for easy attachment of a chainmail aventail.  

This is an inexpensive battle ready helmet for beginners.
