The Helmet of the Spaniard is a fantastic (unofficial) replica inspired by the gladiatorial helmet worn by Roman General Maximus to hide his identity when fighting in the Colosseum in the hit movie “Gladiator” This Gladiator Helmet is constructed from 18-gauge mild steel and studded with riveted hexagonal spikes. The interior of the helm is unlined and blackened; included with this helmet is a padded cotton arming cap.
